
Ingredients List
- 200g plain flour
- 100g butter
- 50g sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 150ml double cream
- 200g strawberries
- 2 tbsp icing sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180C (350F).
- Mix flour, sugar, and baking powder. Rub in butter until it resembles breadcrumbs. Add cream and form into a dough.
- Roll out the dough and cut into circles. Bake for 15 minutes.
- Whip double cream with icing sugar.
- Slice strawberries and serve the shortcakes topped with cream and strawberries.
